Adding a bit to this brand discussion, some fall leathers from Buffalo Bob's Noir are being re-released today (7/22):

This one was re-released a couple days ago:

It's hard to pick a favorite, I like all of them! (There was also this one, but I didn't really care enough for the design to post pictures.)

I'm thinking that's the point, though. Like Brad mentioned in his write up, it lets people get a similar look to brands like Julius but at a lower price point. I think that's great. Fashion and style shouldn't be prohibitive.

japanese brands tend to derive a lot from each other in general. julius has a lot of "borrowed ideas" in its portfolio, too.

I posted this in the buffalo bobs thread, but now I have realized that it is actually part of the Noir line.

2011 AW has a rather nice "Rider's Shirt"- a long sleeved button shirt with a rider's jacket cutting and zip instead of buttons. It's quite interesting.
I like it other than the black line down the sides under the arms. As mentioned in the other thread, it may be ribbing. Even so, I don't like how it appears visually, to me there's too much contrast against the rest of the shirt. That aside, I think it looks great.

We know, you say it every time someone posts plaid. If that makes you think of a lumberjack that's your own weird perception.

As for this piece in particular though, I don't really like it. The shirt-jacket hybrid look doesn't do it for me. Lots of brands doing good plaid right now but this isn't one of them.

On another note, I just found this coat on a website. I deeply love it
I don't know if it's from Noir line... but anyway, Ilike I just said, I love it!
It is in goat leather.
